Born in 1922, Robert was married to Sarah. The 1891 Census shows he was a widower and living with his son Robert W. Hayman (b 1858), his daugher-in-law, Annie (b 1857) and 3 grandchildren, Annie D (b 1882), Herbert G (b 1866) and Arthur M (b 1888) living at the address.
He died on 15th August 1894 and was buried in plot 25, St Andrews Church, Deal as shown on the photo.
