    I thought you said you returned 25L. ? — One 25L. out of the 75L I received two 25L from Mr. Outwin, one I kept, and the other I returned the day after the election. With regard to the other 25L. that I received from Mr. Cromwell, that I had had at an early part of the election.

    You had 50L. from Outwin and 25L. from Cornwell ? — That is the money I received.

    What did you do with the other 25L. ? — I gave it back to Mr. Outwin the day after the election, one 25L. is not gone at all yet.
