Redman, George | Day 7
£5 for room, 4s 6d for putting up poles & £3 for looking after them – looked at them at night before bed and in the morning. Was not asked who paid him but Samuel Olds mentioned him and said they hired one of his rooms. Mr Usher said he received a bill for 8 or 9 shillings from him but knew nothing about it and declined to pay it. Edward Kynaston testified to giving James Axon money for people employed at the True Briton on the Stran so assumed this is who paid him for watching the poles.
